I suppose I shall use this blog as a chance to vent on certain issues, mainly pertaining to school and work and how little time I have to myself. It'll also give you a chance to get to know me just a tad bit, and learn the type of person I can be.
I shall begin with my main priority, which at the age of 16, would be my education. Now it may be true that I have slowly continued to slack off over the years, but hell, who hasn't? I mean it's only high school and I'm only a teenager. I once was quite the nerd - honors, band, extra-curricular. Yes, that was the old me. Now I'm the kid in all the regular classes who enjoys to rest his eyes in each class, and occasionally have his cell phone taken by teachers who think they're cool because they have some 2 inch mohawk on their head that looks completely absurd for someone that age. But back we'll go to school. Although, I may slack off in my high school classes, I have begun taking college classes at a community college nearby through a program which allows students, which 'just so happen' to be primarily of Hispanic/Mexican heritage, and complete their first year of college by the time they graduate High School. However, this too is something I can't really brag all too much. I'm barely on my third class and I have already begun to fail.
As of now, you may be thinking, "Ok... so just another kid in this pitiful world". Well, on top of the 35+ hours I spend at school (which doesn't include the hours I must spend outside of class on projects/homework), there is also the 30 hr/week avg I have at work. Now don't give me the same old crap everyone else does, saying to just quit work and focus on school. Well guess what America, I need money just like everyone else, and I want a car so I can better enjoy this hell forsaken life. Although there are some entertaining parts to having a job, I have recently considered quitting multiple times.
Now this car part just brings me to the next part of this blog. You see, I don't have the parents that'll hand me a car and $100 a week for gas. I must work for every bit I want. And god damn this is no where near fair. One of my friends, a 16 yr old kid, has a god damn fucking 2008 Scion TC with a custom engine, body kit, rims, and every other piece of crap you can toss on a car. Well let me tell you, HE WORKS AT FUCKING McDONALDS! Now obviously he can't afford this by himself. And all I can think about is, "Why the fuck can't I have a car for free that's easily valued at over $40,000?"
So as I put in these 70 hrs/week for school and work alone, I obviously don't have much time to spend on my own. I recently bought a guitar and have been dying to just rock out on the damn thing, but of course I have no time.
Well... I'm getting pretty damn tired and should be working on my school work (as always) so I'll end my first post here. thanks for reading.... I'll post another one up soon, most likely pertaining to Prop 102 which I believe is completely absurd... So, cya next time fellow people.
